The project began with a thorough analysis of the site’s drainage challenges. Our team conducted a hydrological study to determine water flow patterns, soil permeability, and potential flooding risks. Collaborating with the site engineers, we developed a custom drainage design tailored to the warehouse’s layout and surrounding environment.
Using heavy-duty excavators, we dug trenches according to the drainage plan. High-quality piping, including French drains and culverts, was installed to efficiently channel water away from the building. Catch basins were strategically placed to collect surface water, while underground piping redirected runoff to a retention pond located at the far end of the site.
To ensure the drainage system worked seamlessly with the site’s topography, we performed precision grading. Slopes were adjusted to naturally direct water flow into the installed channels. This step was critical to ensuring the system’s long-term effectiveness.
Before finalizing the project, we conducted rigorous testing by simulating heavy rainfall conditions. The drainage system successfully handled the water load, directing it away from the warehouse and into designated runoff areas.
The client was highly satisfied with the efficiency and reliability of the drainage system, which protected the building and prevented future water damage. We provided a maintenance plan to ensure continued performance over the years.
