Our team collaborated closely with the owners of Meadowview Equestrian Center to design an arena tailored to their needs. They required a versatile arena suitable for training, events, and year-round use. After extensive discussions, we finalized a design incorporating advanced drainage systems, high-quality footing, and a durable perimeter.
The site was cleared and leveled to create a flat, stable surface for the arena. Precision grading was performed to ensure evenness, essential for both drainage and footing installation. A slight slope was introduced to guide water into the drainage channels without affecting performance.
We installed a high-capacity drainage system beneath the arena surface, using perforated pipes and gravel layers to quickly remove excess water. This design ensured the arena remained dry and usable even after heavy rainfall.
The arena’s surface was built with layers of premium materials. The base layer consisted of compacted crushed stone for stability, followed by a blend of sand and rubber footing. This combination provided optimal traction, shock absorption, and durability for both horses and riders.
The project was completed with durable fencing to secure the perimeter and LED lighting for evening use. Decorative landscaping around the arena added to its aesthetic appeal.
